1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SagaBound ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
2. Description of Service
SagaBound is an AI-powered interactive storytelling platform that provides:
- AI-generated narrative experiences and text-based adventures
- AI-generated images and videos for storytelling purposes
- Multiplayer minigames and collaborative storytelling features
- Character creation and progression systems
- Virtual credits system for accessing premium features
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Creation
You must create an account to use certain features of the Service. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
3.3 Age Requirements
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.
4. Credits and Purchases
4.1 Virtual Credits
SagaBound uses a virtual credits system. Credits can be purchased or earned through gameplay and are used to access AI generation features including image generation, video generation, and premium game content.
4.2 Refund Policy
Credits are generally non-refundable once purchased. If you experience technical issues that result in loss of credits, please contact support for assistance. Refund requests will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
4.3 Pricing Changes
We reserve the right to modify credit prices and the credit cost of features at any time. Changes will not affect credits already purchased.
5. User Content and Conduct
5.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of content you create using the Service (character backstories, custom worlds, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a license to host and display your content as necessary to provide the Service.
5.2 AI-Generated Content
Content generated by AI (stories, images, videos) is provided for your personal use. You may use AI-generated content for personal, non-commercial purposes. Commercial use requires separate licensing.
5.3 Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to generate illegal, harmful, or abusive content
- Attempt to bypass safety filters or content moderation
- Share account credentials or sell accounts
- Use automated systems to access the Service (bots, scrapers)
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Harass, threaten, or harm other users
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by SagaBound and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
The pre-built worlds, characters, lore, and game mechanics are proprietary to SagaBound. User-created content based on these elements remains subject to our intellectual property rights in the underlying material.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party AI providers and services. Your use of these integrations is also subject to the terms and policies of those third parties. We are not responsible for third-party content, services, or practices.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
AI-generated content may occasionally produce unexpected, inaccurate, or inappropriate results despite our safety measures. We continuously work to improve content quality and safety.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SagaBound shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which SagaBound operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
