Every SagaBound game starts with a short character creator. You give your character a name and pronouns, make the choices the world defines, and confirm the result on a final review step before the opening scene begins.

Identity

Your name and pronouns are part of the game state. The narrator uses them consistently in every scene, from the opening to turn three hundred. Worlds built in the Forge can also offer archetypes, ready-made character templates you can pick and adjust instead of starting from a blank page.

The review step

The last step shows your full character before the adventure starts: identity, choices, and starting details. Give it a real look. It is the easiest place to catch a misspelled name or a choice you want to walk back. Worlds with fully custom creation flows fold this review into their own last step.

Changing details after the game starts

If the narrator gets an established fact about your character wrong mid-game, you do not have to restart. Switch the input bar to Correct the DM and state the fact plainly, like "My character's name is Wren, not Ren" or "I use they/them." The correction becomes part of the record the narrator writes against from then on. See talking to the Dungeon Master.
