Scene Images and Voice Narration
AI scene art and the voice narrator: what each costs in credits, which plans include them, and how to use them well.
Updated July 2, 2026
SagaBound can show your story as well as tell it. Scene images are AI art generated from the current moment, and the narrator can read each turn's prose aloud in a voice you choose. Both run on image credits.
Scene images
Your opening scene generates an image automatically, and you can generate a fresh one whenever the scene changes using the Visualize action on the game screen. A scene image costs 1 to 5 credits depending on the image model picked in Settings, and a failed generation refunds it.
The voice narrator
On Chronicler and above, each committed turn can be read aloud. Pick from 10 narrator voices in Settings, preview them all on the same sample line, and switch the narrator on to have each new turn read as it arrives, with a replay control on any turn. Narration costs 1 credit per 750 characters read, with the rate shown in its Settings panel.
Managing your credits
New accounts start with 10 credits to try things out. Paid plans refresh a monthly allowance (50 on Traveler up to 700 on Paragon), and one-time packs from the Shop add more without a subscription. The full breakdown is in story turns and image credits.
