Every narrator turn has a row of small icons under it. Besides the thumbs for rating the turn, an older turn has three tools for fixing the story: Rewind goes back to just after that turn, Edit rewrites what the narrator wrote, and Remove takes the passage out as if it never happened. All three are free.

Rewind

Rewind puts the whole story back to the moment just after that turn: your health, items, quests and the story clock return to how they were, and everything after it is removed. It asks before it does anything. You can rewind to turns from the last 7 days, even after closing the app, and the corrections you made with Correct the DM are kept. In Tabletop mode a death is final, so a story that ended in death cannot be rewound.

Edit

Edit opens the passage so you can rewrite it. The story's memory is updated to match, so the narrator treats your version as what happened. Editing text does not change your health, items or quests. If your change affects them, for example you removed the moment you found a key, Talk to the DM opens with that change written out so you can confirm what to fix. The newest turn's Edit works as before: saving it also re-reads your items, health and quests from the new text.

Remove

Remove takes a passage, and the action that led to it, out of the story. It asks first, and a short line marks where the passage was. The narrator stops remembering it, and as with Edit, you are offered a fix if it changed your items or quests.

Asking in Talk to the DM

You can also ask in words. Type something like "undo the last two turns", "go back to before the fight", "take out the scene at the docks" or "let me rewrite the part with the guard" into Correct the DM. It finds the passage you mean, shows you the start of it, and asks you to confirm. When it cannot tell which passage you mean, it tells you which icon to tap instead.
