You Said, We Shipped: July 2026
Player reports fixed in July: first-press retry, free DM questions, one midnight for daily turns, and a community search that keeps your place.
Most of what improves SagaBound starts as a player report. This post is the July accounting: the specific reports that became fixes, and the recurring theme in feedback that has been steering the roadmap all summer.
Fixes that came straight from reports
- Retry works on the first press. It used to fail the first time, every single time, before a second press went through. Players told us; it now regenerates the turn right away.
- Asking the DM a question never costs a turn. Questions were always free on the server, but the app wrongly blocked them once a free day's story turns ran out. Reported, confirmed, fixed.
- The action bar no longer strands you. The send button used to go blank while a turn worked, and a dropped connection could leave no way forward. The bar now keeps its controls visible, shows progress, and offers Retry right where you are looking.
- Free daily turns reset at one midnight. Two different clocks used to disagree about when a new day started, which read as turns going missing. There is now exactly one midnight.
- Community search keeps your place. Searching the Community tab no longer loses your position, and the world list pages through the full catalog instead of stopping after the first page.
The theme behind the reports
Across every channel, the most common critical feedback is story consistency: the narrator contradicting an established fact, forgetting a companion, or splitting one character into two. That is exactly the failure class the summer's memory work went after, from meaning-based recall to the self-auditing summary, and it is why Correct the DM grew into a tool that can fix nearly anything. Consistency is not solved, and we will keep publishing what changes, release by release.
How to reach us
Rate any turn with a thumbs up or down and attach a note; those notes are read, tagged, and triaged, and they are the most direct line into the roadmap. For anything bigger, the contact page reaches a human. SagaBound is a very small team, which has one honest advantage: nothing you send disappears into a queue three departments away from the person who can fix it.
